This is the official "WHAT ARE RYAN AND REBEKAH DOING OVER THERE IN ISRAEL?" blog. Hope you get a chance to check it a couple times this summer.Everything seems to be coming together. Financially it looks like we will be right on target. Thanks to those who have helped us get there. My stock photography has contributed significantly as well, covering more than half of all the expenses! That will be a big help in our transitioning back into life in the U.S. upon our return.
Pictured on the left is my documentation of Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis immunization that I received yesterday. Portland has many helpful community health services, and since Bekah and I are uninsured we gratefully take advantage of them. I was able to get a physical (thank you Sonja!) for free, and my TDAP shot was only $15!
We will be leaving for Ohio for some initial briefing stuff on June 8th, and then flying out to Israel a few days after that. More to come...
